IMS and Mid-Prairie Boy’s Soccer Play Round Two

It’s the battle for the Kalona/Wellman area tonight as Mid-Prairie and IMS soccer play in the second round of the playoffs tonight.

Mid-Prairie beat Maharishi-Fairfield 11-0 in the first round Monday to move on to the second round tonight at IMS.

These two teams played to a tie 1-1 game the last time they met, but tonight will have to settle it with one team winning and the other having their season ended.

The Golden-Hawks come in at 8-2-2 with 70 goals for and 11 goals against, while IMS is 13-6-1 with 89 goals for and 26 goals against.

Tonight’s game will be at IMS at 6:30.

On the bottom half of the bracket, Highland beat Williamsburg 2-0 on Monday to play Iowa City Regina tonight at 5 at Regina.
