Iowa Mennonite School will use $50,000 in contest winnings to update technology. According to Candi Schmieder with the school, at their Celebrate IMS! event this past weekend they announced that the money won through a US Cellular contest will be used to improve their wireless internet this summer, making it faster, accessible throughout the building, and more secure. The funds have already been used to buy a mobile laptop computer lab and will help them purchase laptops for teachers and a mobile iPad lab.
