Instead of spreading out a project over multiple years, the City of Kalona is now considering a large scale project. Following recent rainfall and the issues with capacity that followed, the city will now look at doing sanitary sewer lining all at once. An engineering firm is now working on preliminary costs for doing the lining on a large scale. Initially, the city looked at doing a multi year project to spread out the cost. A representative with the company will be at the council’s June 3^rd meeting to share the information.
