UPDATE: The KCII Severe Weather Action Team went back into action for a severe weather warning at 9:50 p.m. Reports of hail in Ainsworth were received. Also, trees and debris blocking streets in the City of Washington and across the county were reported.

At 8:15 p.m. KCII Severe Weather Action Team was called in for a storm that could produce 60 mph wind gusts and golf ball sized hail.

The original stop time was 8:45 p.m. but was pushed back to 9:15 as the storm continued to pass through the area and was again pushed back to 10 p.m., however was canceled at 9:35 p.m.

At approximately 9:45 another severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Washington and Iowa counties with an expected end time of 10:30 p.m.

Reports of pea-sized hail, rain and wind was received from Wellman City Administrator Nick Pacha shortly after 9:15 p.m.

A tornado watch for the area continues until 3 a.m.
