The Keota Visioning Committee is holding a few workshops for those interested tomorrow. Keota is involved in Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program, where they’ll receive help in making plans for future improvements from the Iowa Department of Transportation, Iowa State University and Trees Forever. One of the workshops will focus on identifying special places in Keota, with the results being used to start the transportation enhancement plan. There will be time throughout the day for historians, active community members and nature lovers to share their thoughts.

The other workshop will involve community members taking pictures of Keota’s best areas and pictures of areas that could use improvement. Residents can check out cameras at Wilson Memorial Library. Starting times for the Visual Quality Assessment Workshop are 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30.
