Funeral arrangements will be held for 77-year-old Lyle “Gene” Snakenberg of Sigourney on Friday (5/10) at 10:30 at the Sigourney United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday (5/9) at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney. A memorial fund has been established for the Sigourney United Methodist Church, Keokuk County Hospice or Keokuk County Ambulance.  Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for Gene and his family.
