Recently the Washington County Master Gardeners held their annual spring garden clean up at the county fairgrounds. The group cleaned and prepared flower beds around the schoolhouse, railroad depot, and Washington County Extension building. A business meeting was held following their clean up. The upcoming plant sale will be held on May 18th and flyers will soon be located in local businesses.

Also, Dianne Nelson reported that the seed starting demonstration that she gave at the Extension Office on March 23 was well attended and she hopes to have more educational programs in the future.
