A New London man will spend 100 months in prison for drug related charges. According to United States Attorney Nicholas Klinefeldt, 55-year-old Ferlin Patrick Edgington was sentenced for distribution of methamphetamine and for possession with intent to distribute meth and marijuana. He will also be subject to four years supervised release and has forfeited over $9,000 in drug proceeds.

The charges stem from a June 2012 incident, where law enforcement agents seized cash, 130 grams of methamphetamine, and seven pounds of marijuana. The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, and was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
