Phase two of the ball field renovation at the Kalona City Park is complete. According to Parks and Recreation Superintendent Jacob Andersen, the two dugouts at north field have been replaced. Also, concrete work has been done around the new dugouts and a concrete plaza was poured to connect the parking lot and concession area.

A $17,500 grant from the riverboat foundation received last fall helped fund the project.
