The seed exchange library is officially open and will remain open for the rest of the summer. The Washington Public Library recently received a donation from Sand Hill Preservation Center from Calamus with a number of packets including heirloom and organic vegetable seeds. At this time the library is still seeking more seeds to provide to participants. Patrons are asked to try collecting seeds at the end of this growing season to help replenish stock.

Also, the library asks at this time that people only take two packets.
