Demon boy’s head coach Steve Roth talked about how nice it would be to get some kids to state after a tough season.

“It has been a difficult season, with injuries and the weather, I haven’t seen a spring like this in the 37 years I’ve coached,” Roth said. “There are some kids who are very worthy of going to the state track meet, and there are some kids who are going to be at home that deserve to go to, but like I said it’s going to be an interesting night, I hope the weather holds, and I know my kids are going to be ready to go.”

For 2A Mid-Prairie travels to Eddyville-Blakesburg, while Columbus Junction will be at Tipton, and 1A schools, including Lone Tree, WACO, Winfield-Mt. Union, IMS and Highland will all be at Highland, while Keota and Sigourney go to B-G-M.
