The Washington County Supervisors approved allowing the City of Riverside to extend its urban renewal extension within its two-mile limit. Rusty Rogerson, city administrator of Riverside, explained that this is for the 11.09 acres near the school and the area will provide 17 lots for homes to be built. He also stated that the complete annexation process is not finished at this time. The supervisors approved the resolution on a unanimous vote after hearing from some departments that the area may already officially be included based on documents from the 1990s.
