The Demon softball team has back to back game nights, playing again tonight against Oskaloosa.
Washington played Keokuk in a double header last night, and will make another long trip today.
Washington is hitting .339 as a team, and is led in average by Sammy Ellingson with a .643 average. Stephanie Fishback and Ashley Rausch are leading the team in RBI’s with six each.
Maddie Bohr has a 1-0 record and a .7 ERA with five strikeouts, while Rausch is 2-1 with a 2.06 ERA and 10 strikeouts paired with 10 walks. Regardless who’s pitching, opponents average is a .169 combined for both Washington pitchers.

Peyton Zickefoose is the lead bat for Oskaloosa with a .583 average, eight RBI’s and a home run.
The pitching staff for the Indians has a 1.37 ERA with 44 strikeouts, just seven walks and has held opponents to hitting just .181. Alexis Groet an eighth grader is their top arm with a .68 ERA and 28 strikeouts. Kylee Silliman is next in line with a 2.07 ERA and 14 strikeouts.
