Today, a design team will begin working on plans for projects the Keota Visioning Committee decided on last week. An architecture firm out of Des Moines will be at the Wilson Memorial Library from 1 to 5pm, and if the weather permits, they’ll show drafts of their work at the farmers market. Last week the committee chose to develop plans for a new city trail and improvements to Wilson Memorial Park, the downtown area and their portion of Kewash Trail.

The planning and design work is being funded by Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning program.
