A high speed chase that began in Johnson County ended in Washington County early Sunday morning. At approximately 3:35 a.m. it was reported that deputies were in pursuit of a vehicle on Highway 218, southbound, near the Riverside Drive exit. The vehicle traveled in excess of 100 miles per hour. The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Highway 1 and 220^th Street just before 4 a.m. and 44-year-old Nancy Ruth Kuntz of Coralville was arrested.
