The Highland Huskies took their third loss of the season last night after losing to West Burlington- Notre Dame 8-1.
Katie Springer threw the whole game and gave up 11 hits with just three strikeouts, while the offense seemed to be halted with just four hits on the night and six strikeouts. Kelsey Hora was the best hitter, going 2-3.
Head coach Carrie Wieland said that there were too any mental errors in the game and that West Burlington-Notre Dame hit the ball well.
Highland plays IMS tonight to defend their undefeated conference season.
