The Highland softball team moves to 22-2 last night after grabbing a couple wins from Lone Tree.

The Huskies won game one 9-2 over Lone Tree, with Katie Springer throwing one walk, five hits and six strikeouts. Highland’s offense was led by Kelsey Hora going 3-3 two RBI’s and six stolen bases. Not to be too out done, Cheyanne Adamson went 1-2 with an RBI and four stolen bases.

In game two it was just another day at the office for Springer, getting her second complete game win of the night throwing one walk, two hits and five strikeouts in the Huskies 10-0 win.

The offense in game two was led by Morgan Craig who went 3-3 with two runs and a RBI, Bailey Walsh going 2-3 with three RBI’s and Kelsey Hora going 2-3 with two RBI’s.

Highland improves to 12-0 in the conference and is now two games ahead of Wapello after they lost to IMS last night, going into the Highland and Wapello game on Thursday.
