An accident in Kalona Sunday evening caused one man to be transported to the University of Iowa in Iowa City. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s office, it was reported that a neighbor yelled for someone to call 911 for a possible mowing accident in the 100 block of Hickory Street. The complainant then called back to report that 21-year-old Ryan Yeggy had rolled a full sized tractor and had a deep laceration to his wrist, but was alert and breathing. He was transported to the University of Iowa.
