Iowa River levels at Columbus Junction

The Iowa River is now flooding in multiple locations. Near Lone Tree 1.25 inches of rain was received and the river has risen more than a foot in the last 24 hours, as of 5 a.m. today. Water there is at 15.44 feet; flood stage is 15 feet. Also, the Iowa River at Columbus Junction is more than a foot above flood stage at 20.4 feet, water there has risen 2.2 feet in the last 24 hours. The Iowa River at Wapello is at 21.4 feet, flood stage there is 20 feet.

The Cedar River near Conesville is also above flood stage at 14.6 feet, flood stage there is 13 feet. Approximately 1.3 inches of rain has fallen there in the last 24 hours.
