Students in grades six through 12 are welcome to join the teen summer reading program at the Washington Public Library, says LeAnn Kunz, young adult programming director. She explains that students participate by reading books of their selection and blogging about them on the library’s website; they are later entered for a prize drawing. In addition, the program offers various activities, including a henna workshop and Zen tangles. On June 24th, a handwriting analysis presenter will be the guest presenter at 4 p.m.
