Wet Spring Leads to Replanting

It was a rough spring for our area farmers.  According to Washington County farmer, Jim Cuddeback, the rain in the middle of May led him to replant around 13 acres of corn. More rain later in the month forced him to plant for a third time. He says the large amounts of rain and sitting water was too much for the tile in that area.  He adds the corn he planted the first time around is about waist high.
