More than $4,000 was raised at last week’s Bucket of Junk Art Contest auction at the Washington County Fair. The 10 sculptures were auctioned off, along with a donated piece of art created out of beans and seeds, for a total of $4,550.
Last year the Bucket of Junk auction brought in $3,100.
The proceeds will go to the 4-H program to help pay for students’ member enrollment fees. To see photos of the contest visit KCII Radio’s Facebook page by clicking here.
