A new group in Crawfordsville has organized an event they plan to hold yearly. According to Sonya Love-Smith, with the Crawfordsville Community Club, they’re holding the 1st Annual Christmas in July Ice Cream Social tomorrow at 4pm at Water Tower Park.

She explains proceeds will go towards an effort to improve the park, which was started by Crawfordsville residents, Maggie Smith and Madison Temple.

Some of the activities include fire truck rides, pictures with Santa, and Christmas caroling.
