The Demon softball team is in action tonight when they host Williamsburg for Senior night.

This will only be one game, despite what the schedule shows, Washington and Williamsburg will play just at 5:30.

The Demons are 22-9 this season and hitting .359 as a team. The top four in the order are hitting a combined average of .429, and have 105 RBI’s, over half of the team’s total.

The starting pitching staff for Washington has struggled as of late with Bohr having a 1.75 ERA and 35 walks-to- 30 strikeouts and Ashley Rausch has a 2.35 ERA with 60 walks-to-75 strikeouts. Amber Linnenkamp has been a great relief pitcher for Washington as of late with a 2.08 ERA in 43 2/3 innings, she has given up just 13 earned runs.

Williamsburg is 8-22 this year and hitting .247. Their top hitter is Jess Miller with a .333 average and 10 RBI’s, and their main arm on the pitching staff is Lindsay Schlabaugh with 95 innings pitched and a 3.83 ERA .

This is senior night so the Washington Seniors will be honored, those include, Sammy Ellingson celebrating her fourth senior night of the year, Maddie Bohr, Kaitlin Buchholz, Joni Erwin and Tamera Alexander.
