Final Results of State Softball Tournament for All Classes

The state softball tournament ended on Friday, and here are your winners in each class.

In 1A, Akron-Westfield won 5-4 over New London to capture their fifth state title.

In 2A, Durant shutout Treynor 3-0 to win their first ever state tournament in just three appearances at state.

In 3A, Bondurant-Farrar won 6-3 over Clarke of Oceola getting their first state title since 1959.

In 4A, Dallas Center-Grimes got the state title after finishing as runners-up last year to Indianola, with the 5-2 win over Carlisle.

In 5A, Johnston beat Dowling Catholic 5-2, winning their first title since 2009, that was also the last time the team made it to state.
