The IMS baseball team had five selected for the all-conference team.

On first team is Cameron Gingerich for infield, Dallas Nye for outfield and Reggie Hostetler for utility.

Gingerich had just one error all season and hit a team leading .521 at the plate with 14 RBI’s, one triple and seven doubles. He also had a slugging percentage of .708 and an on base percentage of .623. His batting average for the entire season placed him fifth in class 1A among players who played more that 25 games. Nye hit .354 in the conference with 11 RBI’s, he also had just one error all season, and Hostetler had a 2-3 record in the conference with a 3.96 ERA, 21 K’s and opponents hit .186, he himself hit .372 with 13 RBI’s, a triple and a double.

On second team is Brent Brenneman for outfield and Tanner Leyden for utility. Brenneman hit. 333 for the year with 11 RBI’s, while Leyden hit .239, while having a 2-0 record, with a 4.53 ERA, 14 strikeouts and opponents hit .229 off of him, he also had just three errors in 101 putouts.

Honorable mentions for IMS are Aaron Ockenfels and Tyler Messer.

IMS finished fifth in the conference at 8-8.
