With news that sharing incentives for school districts will continue, Mid-Prairie and Keota met last week to go over their agreement. Vice President of the Mid-Prairie School Board, George Schafer, says the financial incentives were set to end this year, but were extended for an additional five years. He says at the meeting they decided that any extra funds they receive for sharing positions would go to improving education at the districts.
