The Lone Tree baseball team had three players make first team all conference.

Andy Dodson was picked for infield, Jordan Quigley was picked for outfield, and Colin Gibson was picked for Utility.

Dodson hit .400 in conference games this year with 10 RBI’s, three triples and four doubles, and despite not being picked for pitcher, led the team with a 1.31 ERA, 80 strikeouts and opponents hit just .105 off of him. Quigley had a perfect fielding percentage on 11 putouts while hitting a team leading .479 with 15 RBI’s, two homeruns and six doubles. Finally Colin Gibson finished the conference season hitting .356 with 10 RBI’s,

Head coach Steve Gibson said that Dodson could have been an all-conference pitcher as well.

“All three of those guys just had really solid seasons,” Gibson said. “Dodson batted .400 in conference games, and he is also one of those kids who could have been selected as first team pitcher in my opinion also, but he was selected as an infielder.”

Honorable mentions for Lone Tree are Erik Murry and Ty Robertson.
