Local bluegrass fans and musicians will make their way to Kalona this weekend. The Kalona Bluegrass Festival kicks off tonight at Windmill Ridge Campground, a few miles outside of the city. According to one of the performers and organizers of the festival, Paul Robertson, most of the bands performing this year are from the area. He adds music will start at 7 tonight, at 1 and 7 tomorrow and Sunday morning at 10.
