Kalona Valley Apartments, is putting up a new building for its residents. Manager Don Yoder says the building will feature a commons area, laundry machines, a safe room and an office. The total project cost is $150,000, will be offset by a Washington County Riverboat grant. Also, the City of Kalona’s Tax Increment Financing will provide $75,000.
