At approximately 11:45 a.m. Wednesday a vehicle rollover accident was reported on Highway 218 between the Ainsworth/Highway 92 exit and Old White Way. A silver, four-door SUV came to rest in the east ditch on the passenger side.

Northbound lanes of Highway 218 were restricted to just one lane of traffic for about 45 minutes. Responding to the scene were the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Ainsworth Fire Department, Ainsworth First Responders, Washington Rescue, area EMTs and the Iowa State Patrol.
