The Washington Municipal Band is looking at having a December concert this year, announced Dr. Paul Towner at Wednesday’s Washington City Council meeting. Towner gave the annual report to the board. He also stated that the band has been invited to Oskaloosa’s celebration of their band next summer and that the Municipal Band may begin earlier next season due to the 175th Celebration of Washington, which will be the first week of June.
