The Columbus Junction softball team inked six players on the all-conference list with two honorable mentions.

On first team for the Wildcats is Caitlin Chaney. Chaney led the team in batting average with a .519, 14 RBI’s, three triples and one double on the year.

On second team is Megan Pretz at pitcher, Claire Hamilton at catcher, Kelsey Pretz at infield, Heidi Duttlinger in the outfield, and Tori Johnston as utility.

Megan Pretz had a 5-8 record with a 3.66 ERA, 78 strikeouts and opponents hit .183. Hamilton hit .429 in conference play with 12 RBI’s, Kelsey Pretz hit .407 with six RBI’s three triples and a double. Duttlinger hit .306 and six RBI’s, and Johnston hit.359 with 15 RBI’s and a double.

Honorable mentions for the Wildcats are Bailey Stroud and Brooklyn Milder.

Columbus Junction finished with a 8-10 record.
