A recommendation from Riverside’s Municipal Consultant will be considered by the city council on Monday. A letter sent to Mayor Bill Poch and members of council from their consultant, Patrick Callahan, suggests that three council members resign . With the resignation of Nate Kasdorf, Chris Kirkwood and Bob Schneider, who still have 2 years left in their terms, this fall unified groups, with similar viewpoints, could run together for the five council seats and mayor position. Callahan says in the letter that the voters would then decide this fall the direction they want to take the city.
