Parents with children heading back to school next week are reminded of requirements that began a few years ago. I-Smile Coordinator with Washington County Public Health, Sheila Temple, says those entering Kindergarten and 9th grade need proof of a dental screening. Schools offer the necessary forms, but they’re also available at area dentist offices. The state requirement began in 2008. Another requirement that began that year, was lead testing for kids entering Kindergarten.
