Despite a bad water sample, Keota’s water supply remained safe last week. A new sampling station being installed wasn’t cleaned properly, leading to the water sample that came back positive for Coliform Bacteria. Public Works Director Kevin Slaubaugh says further testing up and down stream from the test site showed that the water was free of the bacteria.
