The Lone Tree softball team had three players make all conference with one player on first team.

Madelyn Flemr was the lone player to make first team all-conference for the Lions. Flemr hit .521 this season, had a slugging percentage of 1.021, an on base percentage of .603, had 20 RBI’s and four homeruns, triples and doubles.

Head coach Tom Dickey said Flemr has become more versatile at the plate which is something that will help the team.

“One thing I really liked about Madelyn is that she was able to start hitting the ball on the ground once and awhile and take the ball to the opposite field, and then she led us in almost every offensive category this year, I think the only one she didn’t lead us in was doubles,” Dickey said. “She just had a great year, and continues to get better defensively also, and that is obviously a big plus for us going into next season.”

On second team all-conference is Avery Edwards for infield and Makenzie Reynolds for utility. Edwards was the main pitcher for the Lions with a 7-8 record, 3.00 ERA, 63 strikeouts and opponents hit .227, she also had just three errors in 56 chances. Reynolds hit .340 on the season and had eight RBI’s, along with two doubles and triples.

Honorable mentions for Lone Tree are Micaela Selck, and Karley Hester.

Lone Tree finished 8-9 in conference play.
