The Mid-Prairie baseball team had two players make the all-conference list.

Jonas Coblentz is second team pitcher, while Spencer Shalla is second team utility.

Coblentz was 6-4 on the season with a 3.09 ERA, 67 strikeouts and opponents hit .197 off of him. He talked to KCII about his favorite part of pitching.

“My favorite part of pitching is probably getting that third strikeout, and walking back to the dugout and getting high fives,” Coblentz said. “It is probably one of the best feelings ever.”

Shalla went 4-3 while pitching, he had a 2.44 ERA and 52 strikeouts with opponents hitting .180, he also hit .309 in conference play with 14 RBI’s and six doubles.

Honorable mentions for the Golden Hawks are Seth Eash and Nick Stimson.

Mid-Prairie finished the season at 8-13 in the Cedar Valley Conference.
