A meth lab was found inside a vehicle following a pursuit in Washington County last night. According to the sheriff’s office, the subject rammed a sheriff’s department squad car and went into the ditch at Yucca and 170th Street. No injuries were reported and Riverside Fire was requested for decontamination due to a meth lab being found in the vehicle.
Twenty-five-year-old Richard Campbell of Keokuk was arrested for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, assault on a peace officer with a deadly weapon, felony eluding, unlawful possession of anhydrous, driving under suspension, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain control. Also, charges are pending for operating without owner’s concent and operating while intoxicated. Campbell was also wanted out of Lee County for parole violation.
In addition, 20-year-old Desiree Stinson of Keokuk was arrested for conspiracy to manufacture meth, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She was also wanted out of Lee County for aiding and abetting, disorderly conduct and theft in the 5th degree.

The vehicle was seized.
Iowa State Patrol, Riverside Fire Department, Washington County Sheriff’s department, and Washington Police responded to the incident.
