WACO High School started the school year yesterday with a new principal and new schedule.Jeff Nance started at WACO earlier this month, after Todd Werner’s resignation in mid-July.

According to Superintendent Darrell Smith, they interview four out of the 21 applicants for the position. Smith explains Nance was chosen for his decision and organizational skills.

The district is also unveiling their 4+1 School Week, which will be fully implemented next week.
