The Perseid meteor shower should be most visible in the local area late this evening and early tomorrow morning. Naturalist Pam Holz with Washington County Conservation says the ideal time will be around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 13th. Holz shares that they are generally seen in the Northeast, as though they are coming from the Perseus constellation. An event will be held at Marr Park tonight beginning at 9:30 p.m.
