Public Measure On School Board Ballot

A public measure will be on the September 10th school election ballot. The public measure is to purchase instructional equipment, the Board of Trustees of Kirkwood Community College is authorized to continue to levy a tax within the merged area. This can be done for each of the 10 consecutive years starting July 1st, 2015. The tax will not exceed six cents per thousand dollars of assessed valuation in one year.
