An Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission meeting is being held at the Riverside Casino tomorrow. These open meetings for the 15 state regulated casinos are held 8 times a year. The Riverside Casino and Golf Resort has three items for approval on the agenda, one for an equipment upgrade, a contract with an entertainment company, and a natural gas contract. According to Julie Herrick, who works with the Commission, state law requires contracts be submitted for review if they exceed $100,000, will last three years or more, or if it involves a related party.
