Superintendent goals were discussed at the Washington Community School District’s board meeting Wednesday. The board agreed to focus on three items at this time and to potentially add to Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgenson’s goals at the start of next semester. The three goals are to produce an achievement report using the three years of reading statistics and two years of math trends, increase communication regarding information about the Kirkwood courses to students, parents and staff, and lastly, to establish the state mandated teacher compensation and education reform by January.
