A new season of Washington Public Library’s Sticks and Strings is kicking off tonight at 7 p.m. The group is a chance for people of all skill levels to work on knitting, crochet, or other needlework projects. Leann Kunz, library assistant, says that beginners are welcome and that it has been interesting to see the various projects over the years. Tonight the group is meeting in Central Park, with a rain location of the library. Sticks and Strings meets the first Friday of each month.
