3-1Mid-Prairie Hosts 3-1 Tipton nn Non-District Game

The Golden Hawks host Tipton tonight in a game of 3-1 teams.

The No. 12 Golden Hawks beat L-M last week 24-16, and are led on offense by Eesaa Baylor with 229 yards on the ground and three touchdowns, he takes over the lead from Austin Slabaugh who has 204 yards and two touchdowns.

Mid-Prairie has passed the ball quite a bit this year though, with Reid Miller going 39-73 with 502 yards, four interceptions and two touchdowns, his top receiver is Zach Schwartz who has 173 yards on nine catches and a touchdown, and Canaan Powell who has eight catches for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Tipton comes in at 3-1 after running over Bellevue last week 48-3, the running game has been good to Chandler Harden who has 815 yards and 11 touchdowns on 84 carries. Alex Wiley is their quarterback going 21-44 with 373 yards one interception and four touchdowns, and his favorite receiver is Josh Smith with six catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns, while Taylor Axberg has three catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns.
