This year’s WACO C.R.O.P. drive is underway. Volunteers with Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty will be going door to door in the WACO area to collect donations now through October 26th. The drive,  now in its 46th year, began today. Coordinator Larry Roth says the donations are used to provide food and clean water to those dealing with poverty here in the United States and around the world. This year’s fundraising goal is $33,000. They accept money, but some farmers choose to donate corn and soybeans.
