Cyclists in large numbers will roll through the area this weekend. Organizers of the 3rd Annual Eastern Iowa Culinary Ride chose Kalona as their focus this year. Stops include the new Kalona Brewery, Galen Bontrager Farms, and Farmers Hen House. According to Event Coordinator, Kris Estergaard, close to 300 people have signed up.

She adds some tickets have been set aside for those wanting to sign up before the ride leaves Iowa City Sunday morning. Check in will be from 8 to 8:30am at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area.
