Candidates for this fall’s city elections are in. In Kalona, incumbent councilmember’s Craig Spitzer and Mark Robe are looking to be reelected. Joe Schmidt will also be on the ballot.

In Riverside, current Mayor Bill Poch will be challenged by Nate Robinson. And for the council, Tom Sexton and Karolyn McLaughlin will attempt to replace Kevin Kiene and Ralph Schnoebelen, who are seeking reelection.

In Wellman, Mayor Ryan Miller and councilmember Fern Bontrager will be on the ballot, along with Jared Schneider and, running to fill the council’s vacancy, Robert Goodrich.
