St. Mary’s Church in Riverside is holding their annual Labor Day Celebration today. According to Dee Simon, member of the planning committee, there will be things for the kids to do, bingo, an auction and a raffle. But Simon says the meal is the big attraction. Jerry and Marge Sweeting prepare the smoked Iowa Chops and fried chicken for the event, while church members make the side dishes. The meal starts at 11am, the auction and raffle begin at 2:30.
